5 April 2014
Aussie boy, and adopted Irishman, Damian Clark explodes back to the stage with his third solo show of high-octane observational stand up, Go Ahead, Make My Damo.
12 April 2014
Irishman Andrew Ryan is 31 years old and could not be happier, or could he? Everyone around him is getting married, having kids & buying houses. Andrew certainly isn’t! In his new show The Life of Ryan, the Corkman discusses where life has led to so far, where he wants to go, and his frustrations in trying to get there.
3 May 2014
Multi award winning Irish comedian Danny O’ Brien is bringing his second solo show Back to the Hills to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. After a hugely successful run with his first solo show All My Friends in 2012, Danny returns with a brand new show about the trials and tribulations of returning to his rural Irish home, futile dating attempts, the bizarre mating habits of his friends and the inability to age gracefully.
Danny is joined by Foil, Arms & Hog, Ireland’s top comedy sketch group. They have sold out the Edinburgh Fringe for five consecutive years and recently won an Adelaide Fringe Comedy award. This is their new show, in progress. Get ready for mayhem as brand new sketches comprised of ridiculous ideas are flung at an unsuspecting audience.
10 May 2014
Politics nerd and pop culture obsessive, Gráinne Maguire knows as much about the vagaries of coalition government as she does about Cheryl Cole’s relationship choices. A lot. She writes regularly for a wide range of websites and newspapers including Total Politics and The Evening Standard. Her satirical celeb column in The Irish World has become a cult hit. She is the current recipient of the BBC Radio 4 Comedy Writer’s Bursary.
Joining Gráinne is Jarlath Regan, an award winning comedian and writer for Russell Howard’s Good News and the hit Irish panel show, The Panel. Jarlath has gained a reputation with the industry and audiences for his uplifting, inventive and relentlessly funny stand-up, enjoying sell-out runs at the Fringe since 2007.
14 June 2014
Eleanor Tiernan is an original, honest and exciting comedian who is fast becoming a favourite with Irish audiences. She has performed at Festivals all over Ireland and also on the successful satirical TV show Irish Pictorial Weekly. Joining Eleanor is Chris Kent, voted as one of the Top Five Irish Comedians by Hot Press Magazine, following on from being listed as “One to watch” in The Dubliner Magazine’s ‘Red Hot and Rising’ for 2012.
