2 Girls 1 Pup Show with Host Monique Madrid and Guest-Host Debra Digiovanni Features LA’s Top-Dog Comedians Raising Money FUR a Good PAWS
2 Girls 1 Pup, the comedy show you can bring your dog to, is back on January 4th, 2014 at 7:00pm featuring comedians Barbara Gray, Joe Kilgallon, Chris Bryant, Lauren Flans and Ross Bryant with host Monique Madrid and guest-host Debra Digiovanni, all raising money FUR a good PAWS.
“2 Girls 1 Pup” is one of the most unique live comedy shows in Hollywood. Equally unpredictable and adorable, the monthly show brings the laughs on January 4th at Tailwagger’s Pet Store, 1929 N. Bronson Ave., and is hosted by producer Monique Madrid (All Jane No Dick Comedy Festival, Splitsider). Along with her tireless producer Comet the Pup, she shares the stage with a different guest-host each month. In January, she welcomes Debra Digiovanni (“Video on Trial,” “Single, Awkward Female”) along with some of the most talented comedians in Los Angeles. The night is full of hilarious dog-themed comedy, games, and segments plus free PUPcorn and beer, raffle prizes, and give-aways. To top it off, all proceeds benefit The Tailwaggers’s Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides funding to qualified 501c non-profit organizations who supply life saving treatment to sick and injured animals.
Highly encouraged to bring their dogs, audiences should arrive at 7:00pm for the pre-show red carpet event, PAWparazzi and doggie caricature drawings included. The comedy begins at 7:30pm and features Barbara Gray (Lady to Lady Podcast, One-Two Punch), Joe Kilgallon (‘NBC Sports,’ TBS’s Just for Laughs) and Christopher Smith Bryant (Come Out Laughing, Out on My Own), plus the hottest rap battle to ever take place in a pet store thanks to the hilarious improviser/rappers Lauren Flans (Epic Rap Battles, ‘Nick Cannon Presents: Wild ‘N Out’) and Ross Bryant (Improvised Shakespeare, The Second City Mainstage).
Tickets to 2 Girls 1 Pup are a $5 suggested donation at the door, plus you can buy raffle tickets to win both human and dog prizes donated by local businesses.
